Operations Accounts Assistant - 2 Month Contract - Immediate Start
We are recruiting for one of the nation's largest commercial companies who provide an extensive range of construction services including construction management, general contracting, design and build and preconstruction
The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, proactive Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team in Ashford Park, Basingstoke 2 month contract. You will support the finance team by carrying out the purchase and sales accounting functions whilst hitting the ground running managing various tasks simultaneously
Key Requirements
- Input good receipts (GRN)
- match invoices to GRNs
- resolve invoice queries with all levels of the business
- process cheque and CHAPS payments
- input timesheet data
- assist with journal input
- filing of financial information
- ad-hoc duties as and when required
You
- finance and purchase ledger experience - Essential
- computer literate with spread-sheet, word processing packages and accounting systems
- excellent attention to detail
- be self-motivated
- ability to work on initiative and able to cope with changing environments
- multi-task
- work towards tight SLA's and deadlines
