I am currently looking for a Deployment engineer within the public sector, they have just rolled out a pilot on windows 8 which went well and now are looking to expand their team.Job Title: Deployment engineer
Location: Cheshire
Contract Length: 3 months (initially)
Rate: £12 - £14.00DOE
Start Date: ASAP
Basic Duties Involve:
- You will work closely with the IT Manager providing assistance across all IT aspects of the business
- You will be responsible for all initial ticketing queries ensuring they are moved upwards to the appropriate team member and ensuring the tickets are completed within SLA timeframes.
- You will maintain the Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems along with Exchange and general IT hardware / software issues.
- Along with dealing with support you will also undertake small IT projects
- You will install software to laptops and desktops
- You will complete internal user moves including phone lines
- You will assist in setting up meetings, preparing documents and assisting the IT Manager
The right candidate needs to have the following experience with:
- Windows XP/7
- MS Office
- Active Directory
- Exchange
