A key client of mine in the Medical Device industry are looking for a moulding/validation engineer to support the existing team in the installation and validation of a new moulding line.This is for an initial 6 month contract but current projects mean there could be a longer term opportunity based on good performance. I currently have 9 engineers on site who all enjoy the work environment and challenges of hands-on project based work.
The hourly rate for this position is £30-45p/hr based on experience.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on engineer who can hit the ground running and integrate into the existing culture and approach. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company going through an aggressive growth period.
Overview of the position:
*Support in the injection moulding project from concept phase through to pilot line, customization and industrialization manufacturing process.
*Providing technical support for the design/specification, to purchase mould tools, moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
*Executing installation and qualification of tools, moulding machines, ancillaries and service requirements for their installation.
*Establish the new moulding process for development and production moulds using scientific moulding techniques.
*Ensure smooth transfer of project knowledge and technologies from engineering to production and support daily production issues.
*Involving process FMEA and Risk analysis activities.
*Preparing user requirements specification for machine, mould and ancillaries.
*Performing FAT, IQ, OQ and PQ validation activities and write completion reports.
*Prepare and set up the maintenance plan, spares list of mould and machine in SAP.
*Good practice in using lean tools (5S, Kaizen) for continuous improvement.
*Validation documentation protocols and procedures.
