Working with my key client, I am looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to engage on a contract basis until March 2016The project is based in Bedfordshire and will be on a link road project so highways experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and challenge compensation events submitted by the Contractor;
- Assess and challenge valuations/applications;
- Support the NEC Project Manager;
- Carry out contract audits, including on payments and rates used;
- Review project risks and feed into updating the project risk register;
- Advise and support dispute resolution;
- Advise on effective use of the NEC;
- Identify contract/project/construction best practice;
