Control Engineer / SAPA new contract role for a Control Engineer with SAP experience at 11kV.
Scope of work
Your main role will be to ensure the safety of all personnel working within the live substations. You will oversee all safety switching and you will give consent on the issue and cancellation of safety documents.
You will:
- Have experience of switching on 11kV electrical network
- carry out the duties of a Senior Authorised Person where required
- consent the issue and cancellation of safety documents
The Role
Short term contract based in the East Midlands. Immediate start. Pay between £400-£430 p/d
Desired Skills:
- Previous Rail SAP experience or other experience of a similar role within a construction site.
- HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of protection
