Are you a Senior Planning Analyst with resource planning experience within Financial Services? Do you have experience within a contact centre or customer service environment?

The Opportunity:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Planning Analyst to take a senior lead in supporting the successful delivery of the strategic budget planning process across the insurance operation (life, pensions and investments). Our client is a large financial services organization and the role is based in Edinburgh but will involve some travel to other locations.

The role will include:

  • Being a subject matter expert across a wide range of planning and customer contact systems and being able to demonstrate a deep understanding of operational procedures in a multi-site environment.
  • Ensuring that there is sufficient operational resource to meet customer SLA's as well as ensuring planning analysis and resource schematics are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of business objectives and drivers to enable the production of detailed and accurate operational forecasts that drive optimal and insightful resource planning for the following 5 years.
  • Developing and maintaining robust working relationships with a range of business partners across Insurance Operations, Customer Operations Support Functions and Insurance Division to initiate and leverage cost effective resourcing.
  • Supporting all core governance processes to enable the accurate reconciliation of all planning assumptions.
  • Preparing, publishing and presenting complex technical analysis in a transparent and simple manner that is tailored to a variety of senior/director level audiences.
  • Managing workload to ensure timely, accurate and quality work is produced using technology and developing new best practices and processes.
  • Identifying potential obstacles or risks and developing practical and efficient solutions to overcome them.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid resource planning experience, preferably within financial services at a senior level.
  • Experience of contact/call centre or customer service environments.
  • Worked on programmes within large organisations.
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills.

Remuneration: £350 dependent on experience

Duration: Initially 3 month contract with strong possibility to extend
