Programme Manager - Spanish Speaker

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

The Programme Manager role is a senior management role and part of the Group IT Organisation. Their primary responsibility is to co-ordinate the various projects under the programme providing direction and leadership to ensure the common goal is achieved. They are responsible for shaping and delivering the various projects and various activities to meet the strategic business need whilst also leading specific solution delivery.

Frequent travel may be required.

  • Leads the development of the programme plan and solutions/services on behalf of the stakeholders and customers
  • Provides effective programme resource management within their specific development domain(s) to facilitate the successful delivery of the project.
  • Ensures that stakeholders fully understand the IT solution and promotes financial and commercial awareness in order to deliver the project.
  • Defines, and gains agreement on, the scope, financial and delivery models that ensures effective and successful delivery of their programme.

Experience & knowledge

  • 10 years Project & Programme Management experience
  • A goal/delivery oriented person with a minimum 5 years technology experience
  • Demonstrable ability to turn ideas into strategies and activities to support corporate aims
  • Excellent financial and commercial awareness
  • Comfortable at all levels in the organisation
  • Champion of good practice with high professional standards
  • Technology futures and trends awareness

  • Fluent in Spanish - Essential
  • Ability to create effective programme & project delivery team structures
  • Builds, develops and maintains highly effective corporate and commercial relationships
  • Highly articulate, with outstanding communication and engagement skills

  • Portfolio and Programme Management techniques
  • Fluent in key "best practise" development and delivery methodologies (Lean, Prince II, Agile, ITIL etc)
  • Strong Governance and Risk Management experience
