First Line Support Engineer - Sheffield - 3 Month Contract

A fantastic opportunity has came up with a nationally recognised IT managed services provider based out of Sheffield, for a First Line Support Engineer to join a growing team. The need has came up due to a huge demand in workload and future projects with public sector clients.

You will be part of a large team of IT engineers from 1st to 3rd line who all work extremely well with each other. You will be part of the 1st line set up with the opportunity to progress to second and third within time.

Rate: £10-12 p/h DOE

Length: 3 Months (initially)

Location: Sheffield City Centre

Essential Skills:

- Good knowledge and understanding of one of the following operating systems, Mac, Windows and Linux.

- Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to first line problems.

- Basic understanding of Networking.

- Must have extremely good communication skills, as a great amount of this role will be customer facing.

- Must have previous experience of working in 1st line support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain a long term contract. Although this is initially only 3 months, there is the possibility of a much longer term after the first contract period is up.
