Description

We’re looking for a talented and passionate Systems Engineer to join the Continu team.

About Continu
At Continu, we build Learning, On-Boarding, Recruitment & Analytics Software for the modern workplace. We enable leading companies globally, including brands like Airbnb and Eventbrite to better engage with their employees through delightful learning and on-boarding experiences.

We’re looking for someone who has experience with:
  • Continuous Integration (CI)
  • Elastic Search
  • Benchmarking and monitoring
  • Cloud based environments, including AWS and Digital Ocean
  • NoSQL databases including MongoDB
  • Strong experience in sh/bash and at least one of the following languages - Ruby, Python, Pearl or Go
  • Experience in Chef, Puppet, Pallet, Docker or other provisioning systems
  • Environments including Linux, Networking, Load Balancing and Replication


  • Bonus Points if you have:
  • Experience with Docker
  • Worked with Mesosphere and Chronos
  • Experience with Graphite
  • Strong Javascript experience
  • Machine Learning experience
  • Experience and understanding of Data Science

  • Be a team player, dedicated to supporting your team members and developing necessary experience throughout the company
  • Be equally comfortable with software development and system administration
  • Constantly strive for the best solutions to improve the product maintainability, performance, and reliability.
  • Have the ability to work independently, possess strong communication skills and a solutions oriented attitude
  • Write tools and scripts to provide automation and self service solutions the whole team
  • Design new systems to support production services
  • Creatively solve scale challenges regarding a rapidly expanding cloud environment
  • Help improve monitoring and identify key performance metrics
  • Discover and implementing new tools, emerging technology and best practices
  • Provide disaster recovery design, implementation, and maintenance

    Wherever you feel most creative – from home, a coffee shop or a co-working space. We’re a completely distributed team with employees located across 7 cities and 3 countries (and growing).
