Operational Readiness Manager to join a Top Tier Bank in Poole
The role holder will be required to:
- Responsible for providing support and guidance to the business on the impact of change.
- To analyse existing work practices - system and procedural - identifying areas for improvement.
- To drive and deliver exceptional business performance through the strong leadership and performance management of a team.
- Accountable for establishing High Performance Organisation standards through effective institution of Performance Development standards and measurements, and where appropriate, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Accountable for ensuring a high level of specialist industry and operations knowledge is acquired and maintained personally and by the Technical SME's to successfully deliver operations and advise on technical issues as required.
- Implement, deliver and monitor Regulatory Standards, to minimise and mitigate business risk.
- Champion team process improvement ideas under continuous improvement.
Key skills/experience:
Essential
- Must have extensive Sanctions and/or Payments experience
- Must have extensive Operational Readiness experience
- Must have extensive Stakeholder Management skills
- Knowledge of Fircosoft would be highly advantageous
- Proven Project and Programme Management experience with Banking
