Engineering Configuration and Process Controller

Job Description
Purpose:
Manage and implement the continuous improvement of all engineering processes. Manage product configuration control and configuration control process improvements. Maintain and administer product baselines.
Responsibilities:
Manage all engineering procedures (including associated documentation and forms)
Regularly review and improve engineering procedures, in particular the design and configuration control process, proactively and in response to issues raised within the engineering team
Work within agreed schedules for roll out of new procedures and training and provide regular progress reports to engineering team lead
Manage the engineering change control system
Host weekly change control meetings
Administer hardware and software baselines
Provide administrative support to the configuration and modification of BOMs in the MRP system and baselines in support of engineering projects
Provide advice and instruction on the configuration of part numbers and baselines
Provide manuals and training material for process training
Be the main point of contact for engineering quality audits
