OVERVIEW
Real Staffing are working with a Public Sector organisation in London who require a 3rd Line Support Engineer to help the team whilst they recruit to the permanent post.
This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer who is able to quickly adapt and provide support within a challenging technical environment. As a 3rd Line Support Engineer you'll be resolving IT incidents on Microsoft / Cisco infrastructure and maintaining BAU services.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Experience working in a Housing Association or ALMO
Microsoft Core Technologies: Exchange, Server, Active Directory (AD).
Experience of DFS is preferable .
- Virtualisation: VMWare and / or Hyper-V
- Backup Technologies (ideally Symantec) / Anti-Virus (AV)
- Cisco Networking: Routers, Switches, Firewalls
Additional Desirable Technical Experience:
- Citrix
- Mac OSX
- Storage ( SAN NAS )
- Juniper, Palo Alto, Aerohive
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
You'll need experience providing 3rd line support and a flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to cope with multiple tasks simultaneously.
Its important That candidates have experience in a housing asscoiation and understand Public Sector IT environments.
