Supervisor Manufacturing (Industrial Engineering)
Location: Venlo
Duration: 1 year
The requested supervisor will lead a team of operators in the Niagara assembly line.
Niagara is the project name of the already launched product, the VarioPrint i300, a 300 ipm full colour inkjet printer.The project is today in a Lead Customer Program-phase in which we assemble the first products for the customers in an early industrialization phase (build-to-order concept).
A lot of non-optimal processes still exists, support from R&D-engineers is still needed on a daily basis.
Position's main tasks:
- Leads the daily production (assembly team or integration and testing team)
- Availability of people
- Work planning
- Realization of the daily work
- Organizes instant support in case of problems(R&D, Industrial Engineer or Logistics escalation)
- Manager of operator team: Team will grow from 16 to about 30 operators in a year

Education: Bachelor degree production management/project management, technical background (but detailed knowledge not needed)
