My client based in North Scotland produce a broad range of batteries, chargers and accessories for markets requiring high reliability and robust product design.
They are now looking for an all round experienced electronic design engineer to join their growing team for work on new and existing product design.
Contract length: 6 months (with potential to be extended)
Electronics Experience required
* Technical Development of analogue power electronics
* Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) knowledge
* Thermal management, FMEA and MTBF analysis
* EMC/RFI design and testing
Additional Electronics Experience useful
* Specification of testing to validate designs and establish test regimes
* Board test and debug
* SMT and thru-hole board manufacturing and system integration
