Description

Experience required:

  • Products: Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco 65xx, 45xx, 37xx, ACE, WLC, WCS, LWAPPs
  • WAN: IP Routing, Multi-Layer Switching, ACLs, NAT, T1/E1, DS3/OC3
  • Routing: Cisco Routers, Protocols include RIP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MBGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF, L3 VPNs, IPSec, VPNs, ACLs, NAT, CoS
  • LAN/Switching: Cisco Catalyst series Switches, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.1q, ISL, Ether Channel, Multicast, SNMP, VSS, VTP, STP, RSTP, HSRP/VRRP
  • Wireless: 802.1x, WPA/WPA2 and WEP with TKIP/AES
  • Firewall: Cisco ASA 5585-SS50, 5580 and PIX 525. Cisco Firewall Services Module (FWSM) in a single and multi context environment

Provide network support to all TCS EAME offices based from the TCS regional office in Marlow, UK.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)

Configure and setup Cisco Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and Security appliances for access to vital business applications

Design, setup and configure complex switching environments

Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications

Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking

Configuring and installing client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunication systems.

Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance

Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with Established objectives.

Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support

Supervising the administration of systems and Servers related network to ensure availability of services

Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.

Tasks and incidents to be logged in Service Now

Any other duties as assigned by management

After-hours work may be required

Updating network diagrams in CORAL

Person Specification:

ie Negotiating, client facing, communication, assertive, team leading/team member skills, supportive.

  • Ability to analyze, configure, and troubleshoot large Cisco Data Center Devices
  • Hands on experience on Cisco hardware w.r.to ports and SFP's details information in case of Nexus Switches
  • ITIL certification
