We are currently working with a top tier bank looking to secure a Manager within their Accounting and Valuations Department in Edinburgh.
Primarily, the position is to ensure all service delivery output form the team is completed within agreed quality and timing targets. Working with a number of investment product lines, you will be dealing with client contacts and third parties on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Review, authorize valuation and unit price calculations
- Manage user acceptance as required
- Develop good working relationships with all client and third party contacts
- Develop an enthusiastic and motivated team
- Maintain awareness of topical market issues, in particular changes to pricing/accounting/tax requirements
- Keep up to date with trade journals where changes to current practices may be required
- Continual assessment of operational risks in the business
Experience needed:
- Proven supervisory, lead experience
- Strong experience dealing directly with external clients and third parties
- Extensive knowledge of Investment Accounting and Fund Administration
- Excellent communicator
- Accountancy qualifications
