Description

Due to recent expansion, I now have an opening for a Software Buyer who will be responsible for the Purchasing of all software for use in production vehicles.

The Buyer would be responsible for negotiating pricing and licencing terms with software/licence vendors.

They will introduce new suppliers to my client and ensure that the supplier understands and operates to my clients production supply requirements.

The buyer will help to shape the software procurement processes.

Skills Required:

You have excellent administration and organisational skills and be a good team player.

You will have the ability to form and build new and existing supplier relations.

We are really looking for a self starter who has the ability to work unsupervised.

The buyer will have experience in negotiating commercial contracts and managing supplier relationships Sourcing new suppliers & products

Experience Required:

* Strong commercial and legal awareness and skills with regards to purchasing software
* Commercial business acumen and negotiation experience.
* Computer & Project management skills are essential.
* Ability to analyse the total business case for sourcing.

This position will be a long term contract position which has currently been signed off for an initial 2 years.
