IntaPeople are recruiting on behalf of a large manufacturing company in the Durham area. They are looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join them on a short term contract basis.
You must be able to read and fully understand both company and customer technical drawings in metric and imperial. The ideal candidate will be capable of using various measuring equipment eg Vernier, Micrometer, Depth/Height Gauges, Protractor etc to measure in both metric and imperial.
You will be required to carry out full inspection of parts/products using the above requirements/techniques. Romer Arm & CMM skills are a definite advantage.
Any experience in Preparation of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) will be an advantage.
