Description

A contract opportunity has arisen for a CMMS Co-ordinator within the renewable energy sector. Using a bespoke Computerised Maintenance Management System, you will record relevant operational and maintenance data throughout the life cycle of wind farm projects. Your responsibilities will include the development of maintenance management procedures, inputting work orders, scheduling and short term planning of work activities and closure of work orders. Prior maintenance experience with CMM systems is required.

Main CMMS duties include:

* Ensure all work covering scheduled and unscheduled service is reported through the CMMS.
* CMMS work flow is validated and optimised where possible to ensure that all maintenance work is managed in a planned and controlled manner utilising the SAP-PM works management system, including: Statutory, Preventative and breakdown Maintenance and Defect Rectification
* Management and co-ordination of all training on the SAP-PM maintenance management system.
* Production, consolidation, expediting and distribution of the weekly and daily maintenance schedules.
* Production of the daily and weekly Reports from the SAP system.
* Assisting the Maintenance Scheduler
* Production of outage opportune maintenance programmes.
* Development and integration of new policies, standards and rules for offshore wind farm/wind turbine safety into SAP-PM workflow.
* Implementation of Maintenance Management Systems, incorporating safety documentation, tooling, buildings, equipment, etc..
* Assist in establishing best practice in operations and maintenance with associated data collection and knowledge dissemination.
* Integration of Real Time activities into historical records delivering accuracy of information that can be actively used in the CMMS

CMMS Knowledge and Skills:

* A strong background in maintenance and service functions preferably in the power industry
* Demonstrable experience as a works scheduler planner
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Experience of working in a multi - company team environment
* Problem solving and analytical skills
* SAP knowledge would also be highly advantageous
