My client who are a leading name in the Utility and Energy sector are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join them:
Role:
This role will provide support to the Lead Mechanical Engineer on site to ensure the asset operational performance by effective delivery of routine, preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical aspects of the plant in a safe, compliant and commercial manner and improving the engineering integrity and performance of the gas storage facility.
The post holder will also assume the lead on the implementation of smaller engineering improvement projects on behalf of the engineering team with involvement from the initial concept through to commissioning.
The role will also will support identified contract needs at site by working with the Lead Engineers of each discipline to develop technical specifications to identify work requirements and administer the procedural requirements for setting up and managing subsequent contracts.
Experience:
* An Engineering HND/Degree level qualification with extensive knowledge, skills and experience
* Influential communicator
* An extensive understanding of health and safety and environmental legislation and standards.
