CASS SME
Consultant/contractor would need to have:
Experience of implementing and/or running Client Money (CASS) in a practical operations context, so it is expected that that the candidate will have a good understanding of the CMAR, Internal/External Reconciliations and the Resolution Pack.
Knowledge of the CASS rulebook and the implications of recent FCA policy statements
Consultant/contractor will need to:
Review the CASS framework/evidence, including the CMAR Return (Client Money & Asset Return)
Provide 1st line support to the CF10a (COO)
Own and drive CASS actions
Develop and document a process for future proof oversight of CASS obligations
Review of the operational process and controls associated with CASS, producing updated documentation in standard format
Work closely with the Compliance teams
Liaise with the auditors before and after the interim audit
This is a full time role starting 1 July for 3 months and is additional to any request for compliance team support on CASS. I would also stress that it is completely hands-on, an absolute doer is required not an adviser. Maybe required to look at Transaction Reporting.
