Service Desk/Helpdesk/2nd Line Engineer/Windows/Hardware/Troubleshooting/Installation/French/Contract/Luxemburg

IDPP is actively recruiting for a 2nd Line Engineer to join a Global Leading Consulting Partner in Luxemburg; provide 2nd line support to our customer's end users located in Luxembourg.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants applying must possess a valid driving license and car to be able to visit the necessary Client sits when/if required.

The successful applicant will have the following experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a busy helpdesk/service desk environment
  • Good knowledge of desktop hardware and software including Windows 7, Windows 8, Microsoft applications, user access set-up etc.
  • Possess a good understanding of networking (wireless networking, configurations, cabling,

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform installations, moves, adds and changes in a client environment
  • Attend to hardware break-fix, troubleshooting, hardware component replacement
  • Provide basic desk side support of personal computers and associated software
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction
  • Speak fluent French and English
