Summary

My client is looking for a Situation Manager who will be the primary interface between the customer and my client (a global telecoms company) for incident and situation escalations. They will work and meet regularly with the customer to liaise situation progress, manage customer expectations and act as the interface between the client and operational support teams for service interruptions experienced on the customer network.

This will require the Service Manager to engage and coordinate with service and support teams, third party vendors and customer focal points to ensure that restoration SLAs are met. Strong troubleshooting and technical skills and therefore required to assist in directing troubleshooting activities and advising the client and or other bundle supplier's technical teams for timely fault isolation and resolution.

Technical Skills/knowledge

* Background andunderstanding of voice and data network platforms with at least 5 years' experience in an operational environment supporting large enterprise networks. Certified to CCNP.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality
* Excellent communication skills
