Our client, a Global manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Operations Data Analyst to be based in Bracknell
Job Description
The role sits as part of a team of people providing Sales Operations, Business intelligence and analytics to the UK businesses.
The role encompasses the following areas:
1. Preparation of weekly and monthly sales reports to the UK business and Finance teams
2. The update and maintenance of sales territories for reporting purposes
3. Update and delivery of monthly reports to support processes related to sales.
4. Quarterly provision of data & key reports to businesses to allow them to effectively monitor the performance of sales plans and customer rebates.
Summary of Duties
Part of a team to centralise, simplify and standardise the UK sales and Point of Sales reporting for the UK business groups.
Monitoring and maintenance of data integrity of source data, including cleansing of source data.
Responsible for the integrity and quality of sales data for reporting.
On-going maintenance of data on sales territories for the UK businesses to support sales reporting, sales compensation and customer rebate processes.
Preparation and maintenance of monthly customer rebates calculations and where applicable, the provision of insights on this area to Business Services and UK Business Managers
Preparation and delivery of weekly and monthly sales reports on time and in full for Business Services, UK Business and Finance teams.
Provision of ad-hoc sales data, analysis and reports to support decision making.
Monitor all report requests through on line request system & keep own assigned work up to date within the system
Work as part of team to support requests from the UK Businesses.
Offer suggestions to work team on areas for improvement in the reporting processes.
Key Skills & Experience
Looking for Someone who is able to use excel and similar tools to manipulate data but who also has experience of business operations, so you can use and manipulate data, interpret it and identify issues and opportunities AND communicate them well to the businesses.
Demonstrably strong Microsoft excel skills - able to use Pivot Tables, VLook ups etc
High attention to detail & quality of work
Numerate
Good communication skills
Ideally experienced in data analysis using Microsoft Office packages & SQL Queries
