Description

Background:

My client is an international bank based in Brussels.

You will be joining the Release Management and Service Continuity team.

Tasks:

As Release Manager within the Release Management (RM) and Service Continuity (SC) team, you will participate in the end-to-end processes of Infrastructure Release Management, Service Continuity or Security Patch Management events in accordance with common group standards contributing to the bank's objectives to maintain a high level of Production security and stability.
Plan, organise, coordinate and participate in the end-to-end RM and SC processes.
Perform impact and risk assessment, individually for each subscription and for the total scope.
Ensure Testing Strategy is planned and executed including Production Integration Environment stage.
Build and deliver the full scope and the Week End Launch Strategy document including intermediate status.
Manage and escalate exceptions, deviation and conflicts.
Present the Release to the Readiness Meeting, Service Integration management and to the Production CAB for approval.
Coordinate the deployment launch and the validation procedure.
Follow the post launch period and deliver the Post Implementation Report.

Skills:
You have at least 2 years relevant experience in Project management, preferably in a complex technical environment and technically minded.
You have technical knowledge in one or more of the following platforms: Mainframe, Windows, Unix, Tandem, Network, Storage, Middleware.
You have good inter-personal, communication, negotiation and organizational skills and the ability to deal with conflicting priorities/problem solving experience.
You should be willing to travel from time to time to the bank's other sites in London and Paris .
