Description
Material Controller to join our Supply Chain team for a 6 month initial contract with a high profile Electronics client based near Uxbridge.
To be successful you should have experience of logistical control and planning to manage material ordering, usage and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Running MRP daily and ordering all requirements
Planning material schedules and production activities, based on material availability, to ensure smooth supply of material kits to production with no shortages.
Cycle Count management to include distribution of counts, analysis of results and performance of authorised changes to system stock in line with company compliance and auditable processes.
Reporting status of stock and stock availability on a weekly basis with analysis and action plans to improve performance.
Liaising with other departments on all material related issues appropriate to them.
Experience and Skills
Experience in ERP and MRP
Material control or material scheduler experience
Mandatory
The successful candidate must be capable of attaining SC clearance as a minimum.
