Description
1 year contract - IT Consultant with solid experience in IT Software Asset Management
Duties
Provides consulting advice to architecture and project teams to optimize software and hardware solutions.
Prepares reports and performs analysis for research to proactively identify savings and improvements.
Identifies necessary changes in the complex software contracts and is responsible to manage contract updates, liaise with legal, contract and sourcing teams.
Document licensing and contract term requirements in preparation for contract negotiation.
Supports sourcing and procurement team during software contract negotiation stage.
Is responsible for project planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and reporting of Global/cross Segment or Function IT asset projects.
Support technology refresh programs.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in developing and implementing asset management tools, frameworks and governance.
5+ year of experience with establishment and management of software contracts for all IT platforms.
A strong candidate with solid experience in IT software asset management
Must have experience with software contracts - reviewing contracts to ensure the contracts suit the business
Experience working in a server environment (Mainframe knowledge good to have)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information management or a related field, or the
equivalent in education and work experience.
Software Asset Management and Project management certification would be an advantage.
Languages
- Fluent English is essential. Fluency in German is an advantage
Travel is required
