Are you an exceptional Operational Risk professional from the financial services? Do you have experience within the futures industry? This could be your next challenge.
One of Europe's largest Banks based in London is looking for an Operational Risk professional to join their team on a 3 month contracting basis. The role is offering a maximum of £375 per day, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities across a variety of Operational Risk challenges from framework implementation to liaison to reporting. Therefore the ideal candidate will have a desire to fully immerse themselves in the company's processes.
On a day-to-day basis you will ensure the effective implementation of the organisation's Operational Risk Framework in line with Global Standards. This will require a large amount of internal stakeholder liaison to ensure understanding and consistency throughout the company. This liaison should also enable you to identify High Risk areas to escalate.
Regular and accurate report generation will be a vital part of your role. You will be defining priorities for analysis, and flagging areas of high concern. The successful candidate will be able to justify reasons for their recommendations. In addition you will be responsible for reporting errors and incidents into the Global Risk Tool I order to help the organisation move forwards successfully.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Head of Operational Risk in monitoring and tracking Operational Risk throughout the organisation.
- Key stakeholder liaison to ensure consistency and understanding of processes and procedures and to identify areas of concern.
- Implementation of the Operational Risk Framework in line with company standards.
- Report generation to highlight areas of concern.
Requirements
- Experience of an Operational Risk role from Financial Services.
- A proven experience within the futures industry
- Experience of performing RCSAs is essential
- Experience of Global Markets
