Description
Estimator required for excellent contract opportunity with utilities client based at any location across Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Dundee, Inverness, Aberdeen, etc.)
Duties will include;
- Provide a cost estimating service meeting the internal costing needs across a circa £2.3bn Investment Programme spanning the period .
- Estimate cost of Projects and Interventions for the Business/Delivery Plans, scoped and sized by Process Engineers, Asset Planners and Designers. Typical project cost in the range £0.25M - £5M.
- To develop and price projects using the Corporate Estimating Tools including estimating from first principles.
- Quality Assurance check estimates and sense check of scopes.
To be considered you will have the following skills;
- Experience working as an Estimator within the water industry
- Excellent Excel skills
- Good costings experience
