An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager, working for a large blue chip organisation based in Berkshire for 3 months and likely to be extended.

The purpose of this role will be to perform reviews of all financial plans, budgets and forecasts in line with the corporate requirements. To develop performance measures driving positive changes across efficiency against activity 'vs' cost for Capex and Opex. Some of the main responsibilities of the successful Finance Manager will be taking the role as the key finance representative to take the lead on reviewing the companies fixed asset register and all investment proposals from an opportunity and risk perspective. You will form a strong alliance with field operations ensuring all business requirements are understood by the finance function and constraints are communicated in response, providing business focussed support making decisions but also challenges whilst maintaining a sense of authority around corporate governance.

The successful candidate must be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years industry experience and an excellent track record in financial support to business operations. Strong business partnering skills combined with an appreciation of hands on technical ability. It is essential that you will fully understand the importance of timescales and deadlines and have proven experience adhering to them. The business strives for continuous process improvement across all finance and business initiatives, someone with a passion for this will also increase their chances of obtaining the role.
