Description
A new opportunity has arisen to provide Finance and Admin Support to one of the largest telecommunication organisations.
This role is a 6 month initial contract and is based in Coventry.
Responsibilities:
- Support the elaboration of financial forecast on cost centre dimension
- Drive and monitoring improvement costs initiatives within the FSO
- Periodically tracking on actual costs against forecast
- Support line managers with financial control and provide training when required
- Prepare financial performance report by region and areas
- Monitor the time report from all billable resources
- Support and prepare business cases for new demands
- Financial control on 3pp spending
- Organization of documentation and records
- Assistance with cost centre queries and cost centre reporting (Concur)
- Support for management and staff with time recording and cost centre financial control and planning
- Updating any relevant databases
- Maintaining equipment records
- Assistance with the compilation of department reports
- Proactive way of working in order to support the unit(s) and improve administrative effectiveness.
- Actively contribute to improving administrative routines/tools efficiency in co-operation with the unit(s).
- Assist cost centre owners with purchasing
- All other ad hoc duties as required

Education:
- Degree educated - Business management or Accountancy
