Strategic Procurement Specialist X3 Leeds or Newcastle (Public Sector)
Strategic Procurement Specialist needed for roles on Newcastle or Leeds for 6 months. The Strategic Procurement Specialist will need to have 5 -10 years experience working in a Strategic Procurement Specialist role, with recent experience working in the public sector. The Strategic Procurement Specialist will need to be CIPS Qualified.
The Strategic Procurement Specialist should have expert knowledge of procurement strategy, relevant legislation and NHS/Government policies Must have knowledge and experience in putting together contracts including terms and conditions and schedules. The Strategic Procurement Specialist must have experience of working alongside clients to create effective commercial models and to support the drafting of specifications.
The suitable Strategic Procurement Specialist will need experience of managing contractors, professional and administrative staff and resources to achieve corporate objectives. Experience of developing and implementing procurement, IT and/or services management solutions; and managing major high value purchases that requires analysis, comparison and assessment.
