Documentation Engineer
Compliance, regulatory and safety within a development engineering environment
Location: Cambridgeshire
Taking a lead role in the production of documentation for legislative, certification and validation requirements you will support a diverse range of projects including NPI, in-field development analysis, and compliance for new technologies.
You will produce all technical files to satisfy requirements taking in to consideration all current EU directives and support development engineering through the validation process. This will include risk assessments, safety audits and lead initiatives to introduce compliance to new regulations.
Candidate
With experience producing technical documentation within a development engineering environment you will have an appreciation for current EU, machinery and safety directives /EC, /EU, EMC Directive, /EU ROHS).
Ideally you will have direct experience producing the documentation but with a background within development engineering across aerospace, automotive or off-highway, and an appreciation for the legislation- this contract would be within your capability.
With a significant package of work to complete there is a competitive rate and significant chance of further extensions to the contract.
