1st/2nd Line Support Engineer - Liverpool - £13 - £15phA strong 1st/2nd Line Microsoft based support engineer is needed to join a growing business in their Liverpool offices. The IT department as a whole has steadily grown over the years and due to recent customer success they require several IT Support Engineers /1st Line support Engineer with a strong interpersonal and communication skills are required on a 3 month contract ASAP.
Job Title - IT Support Engineer/Help Desk/1st Line support
Contract Length - 3 Months
Rate - £13 - £15.00
Start Date - ASAP (Immediate Start) Location - Liverpool
The break down of your day to day duties is as follows -
Admin - 10%
1st/2nd Line Support - 50%
Intranet/Web Based Systems - 40%
The Role -
- You will work closely with the IT manager providing assistance across all IT aspects of the business
- You will be responsible for all initial ticketing queries ensuring they are moved upwards to the appropriate team member an ensuring the tickets are completed within SLA timeframes.
- You will maintain the Microsoft server and desktop operating systems along with exchange and general IT hardware/software issues
- Along with dealing with support to laptops and desktops
- You will complete internal user moves including phone lines
- You will assist in setting up meetings, preparing documents and assisting the IT Manager.
Skills Required -
- The ideal person will have experience in working for an SME or SMD sized business doing a mix of 1st to 2nd line support for at least 2 years
- Microsoft stack skills inc: Windows, Microsoft server, exchange, active directory
- Strong organisational skills
- Be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills
