My NHS client Based in the Home Counties is currently looking for an Interim 8a Health Visiting and School Nursing Service Manager for a 5 month period.The Day rate is £300
Experience as a service manager for a Health Visiting and/or School Nursing service is essential.
The service manager will be looking after a School Nursing and Health Visiting Service, and would be responsible for the operational management of that service.
The successful candidate will be coordinating and chairing meetings with a group of team leads who will deal with the day to day nursing duties.
Other responsibilities include;
Reporting to NHS England with the service performance and monthly health visiting dashboards
Overseeing project workstreams, including but not limited to;
Boarder changes for health visiting,
Strategies for new projects
Transition work on the School Nurse service
Planning and development of the integration of a 0-19 Service
The successful Service Manager will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an 8a service manager and spent some of that time within a Health Visiting and/or School Nursing Service.
Beneficial experience includes;
Experience in recruitment and retention into Health Visiting
Change and transformation projects within a Health Visiting Service
Registered Nurse
