IT Operations Manager - Contract - Edinburgh
Native Talent are recruiting an IT Operations Manager for our Edinburgh based client. This role will be a mix of hands-on work within an operations environment, team, and project and process management. You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining the server and SAN infrastructure including datacentre management, projects, documentation and a small team. The role combines both business as usual and a significant amount of projects as the business is constantly growing and evolving.
Importantly, you will be responsible for creating policy documentation and processes for operationally critical systems. Therefore it is essential you've experience of requirements gathering, project planning, policy creation and creating detailed documentation relating to new policies in business critical and operationally critical environments.
This role is suitable for someone who has experience in the following:
Active Directory
Group Policy
Microsoft System Centre (SCCM & SCOM)
Desktop management
Virtualisation using VM Ware
Security

This is a 3 month initial contract, but it is likely to be extended. Interviews will take place at short notice. Applicants will be required to complete a Disclosure Scotland check.
