Description
Our client, a leading company within the Energy from Waste (EFW) industry are seeking an Engineering Director to join the team. This will be a second in command position and the successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive. This is also a staff position and my client are looking for someone who wants to commit fully and help drive the company.Experience Required
- Analyse the current internal and external engineering processes and implement improvement adjustments and changes.
- Engineering equipment purchasing and selection experience.
- Knowledge of maintenance and asset management.
- Experience dealing / leasing with end clients.
- Responsible for the direct management of all components involved in the delivery of Engineering Services, for example recruitment assessment and personal development.
- Support the development and then implement and manage all regional initiatives and programs.
- Be the single point of contact for engineering services.
- Be accountable for the engineering service delivery to meet the contractual obligations
of the end client. - Manage relationships with key stakeholders in the end client’s organisation.
- Be responsible for the achieving key performance indicators, service levels and other measures set by the Chief Executive.
- Ensure MSA & KPI assurance, Implementation of Corporate Initiatives, Implementation and evidencing of training and procedures to ISO9001 standard.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior management position.
- Proven self-starter that consistently delivers to outcome specifications.
- Experience of operating in a similar role and environment (e.g power).
- A Chartered Engineer / Engineering Degree qualified in an appropriate Engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical/Electrical/Building Systems Engineering) preferred Fellowship of recognised trade body (IET).
