Infrastructure Engineer - 5 Months Contract - Leeds or Newcastle
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a globally recognised IT company based in Leeds and Sheffield. This role is perfect for someone with experience in a previous role with a huge demand for project deliverable. A good knowledge of Cisco networking is preferable(CCNA preferred.)
You will be working alongside a energetic and dynamic team of seasoned IT infrastructure professionals. This role will be to deliver a number of projects to an extremely high standard which will help with the growth and improvement of an already huge IT structure within the company.
Rate: £220-£260 DOE
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Leeds OR Newcastle
Contract Length: 5 months
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in a 3rd line position.
- LAN and WAN networking.
- Antivirus & firewalls.
- Familiarity with all recent versions of Microsoft Windows & Office (2000/XP/7/8).
- Windows Server 2000/03/08/12. Microsoft Exchange .
- VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization systems.
- It is essential that you have strong implementation skills and a solid background supporting the Infrastructure of a variety of companies.
This is a 6 month contract with a high chance of extension, the rate is £220 - £260 per day depending on experience.
There may be some out of hours work but this is a great opportunity for the right person, and a great chance for future contract work.
