Context of the position

Logistics Trade & Infrastructure are key to a smooth supply chain: ultra-fast transportation networks and 36-hour delivery guarantees are no use if shipments are delayed at border crossings due to missing paperwork. Hence the Trade & Infrastructure (T&I) team is present wherever our client is, streamlining border passage while minimizing duty and handling costs. Shipping advanced systems requires alignment with our client sales, account support, factory and finance departments plus customers, riggers, airlines and forwarders to deliver at the right time, quality and price. Advanced Real Time track-and-trace equipment to monitor location, temperature and handling ensure our client and its suppliers meet all requirements. T&I also establishes and maintains logistics infrastructures near customer sites - not merely "box-in, box-out" operations but sophisticated, climate-controlled clean room facilities. This makes added-value services as important to the client-supplier relationship as price.
