Job mission
The group System Particle Control is responsible for optimizing the system performance by providing the means and methods to prevent, detect, analyze, predict and eliminate particle contamination sources in the system. Particle contamination control contributes to, for example, yield, overlay, EUV transmission and system lifetime. Furthermore, the group should ensure that the designs of the systems and tools are industrializeable.
Job description
The job focuses on the qualification (particle cleanliness) of several of the modules of the system. Currently these modules are the projection optics. The release, packaging, transport, handling and assembly of these modules in the ystem need to be qualified for particle cleanliness; each step in the process needs to be in spec. On top of this newly developed (sub) modules, parts and processes need to be qualified too. Finally troubleshooting of out of ordinary situations needs to be supported, working closely together with the factory.
