Chief Compliance OfficerAn opening for a Chief Compliance Officer has arisen within a rapidly growing multi-strategy Asset Manager with a strong presence in the alternatives space. The firm are offering a fantastic package along with the chance to spearhead compliance from London HQ as the CF10 and CF11.
Reporting to General Counsel, this is a strategic position where you will have the chance to build out a team and advise the business and senior executives in relation to a plethora of FCA regulations and key regulatory developments such as MiFID II. Other key responsibilities will include implementing a Chinese Wall and robust AML / ABC controls in relation to private equity business in developing economies. You will be completing the roll out of a firm wide compliance monitoring program and will be a point of contact for advice in relation to the cross border marketing of funds.
The firm is seeking an ambitious compliance officer with a familiarity to the buy side and issues relating to private equity or hedge fund investment management. A working knowledge of AIFMD and the FCA handbooks is essential.
