Description

This is a role where you can take lead of your work, take initiative in the avenues you focus on.

What will you do for this company?
  • Begin by researching to plan your strategy for the UK.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the Therapeutic area.
  • Fully aware of the business strategy and work in conjunction with this to aim towards the same outcome for the business.
  • Be a customer facing MSL, engaging with KOLs throughout the UK, arranging advisory boards, attending conferences and meetings actively.
  • You will work alongside Medical and Commercial on a similar level to provide scientific input into the pre-launch work.
  • You will engage with organisations that focus on the Therapeutic area.
  • You will create disease awareness in meetings, digital and online avenues.

  • You have worked as an MSL, Medical Advisor, Scientific Advisor or in the NHS on Rare, Ultra Rare or Orphan Disease
  • You are passionate about creating awareness of Rare Disease and the benefits of treating patients with Rare Disease.
  • You are a team player that doesnt just 'work in a job' for job's sake.
  • You are willing to be fully invested in this role from start to finish.
  • You have a strong commercial acumen with the confidence and ability to convey your scientific knowledge to work alongside and support this part of the business.

Do you meet their minimum requirements:
  • Scientific (life science), Pharmacy or Medical Degree.
  • Experience in several therapeutic areas or in Ultra Rare / Rare / Orphan disease
  • Strong KOL Network or skills to research and engage in the righ KOL network
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in the NHS or Pharmaceutical Industry


Are you available when they need you?
  • This role starts in September. You must be available to start by September 30th 2015.
  • You must be available to interview in the UK in mid-august. International travel for interviews is not covered by the client.
  • Ideally applicants will be based in the UK, Ireland or continential Europe and are actively seeking a new role.
