Description
My client is an Insurance Company based in the Sussex area. There is an immediate need for an interim Financial Reporting and Control Team Manager to support the Group Financial Controller in delivering key milestones with a specific emphasis on maintain and improving month end close and accounting, improving; timeliness, completeness and accuracy of accounting information, process, understanding and awareness, insurance provisions, accruals and repayments, conformity and automation, technical and audit compliance.
You must come from a strong Insurance background, ideally General Insurance, and have managed and improved the month end close process. You will have experience of consolidation, ideally an implementation and a multi-ledger environment. You should be a strong people manager as well as being organised and structured whilst having the ability to meet tight and demanding delaines.
