Our client seeks experienced Security & Network Engineers who can demonstrate a good understanding of technologies within some of the following: LAN, WAN, Security, Encryption and Data Centre environment.
The Security & Network Engineers will join the customer networks team which is focused on security and/or network support but will also include significant exposure to the delivery of Network Project activities across all technology areas.
The team is responsible for operational support, dealing with incident-based trouble tickets and Service Requests. This includes taking care of the route cause analysis and fault resolution, focusing on daily operation and the availability of the IT infrastructure.
Candidates will ideally hold Cisco accreditation with particular focus on Cisco base installations and standards based dynamic routing protocols. Additional exposure to other network technologies including Wireless, Security, Load balancing, IPT and Encryption technologies in beneficial.
You will have a good understanding and practical exposure to Cisco network hardware, both from an installation and support perspective, and supporting and deploying Firewall solutions with a particular focus on Checkpoint Firewalls. You will also be capable of system configuration, planning and implementation of technical equipment and applications.
