SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Contract: 12 months (W2); start ASAP

Client: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers
Department: Finance
Travel: Occasional (approximately 5-10%), primarily to Northern California
Purpose of Project: Support the program for ACA reinsurance and risk adjustment reporting
Top Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist Program Leadership with various activities related to communication, coordination, risk tracking, change control.
- In partnership with business and IT leads, lead and manage work stream activities for a large, complex project.
- Coordinate with other Project Managers to ensure alignment of work and deliverables.
- Provide status for activities supporting successful delivery of the project, including work status, cross-track coordination, risks and issues, status of change control items.
- Other activities as requested by Program Leadership.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- BA or BS
- Minimum 8 years' project management experience
- Ability to lead and motivate a work stream team and coordinate across work streams to ensure on-time delivery of high quality work for a large, complex program
- Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Project and PowerPoint
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and distill complex information and provide summary of most critical, relevant information to inform risk management and escalation
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- PMP or Project Management Professional Certification
- Experience with large health care data programs and basic health care data knowledge
Must work onsite initially, can be remotely after established in position
