Description:
The Supply Quality Manager will be responsible for quality monitoring (assurance and control) of allocated procured equipment and quality documents to ensure quality (compliance with requirements) and completeness of Inspection within the approved budget Expediting Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparation of project specific Quality Control Plans
Negotiation and finalization of quality requirements with suppliers (Level 2)
Preparation and updating of supplier quality tool, SUMO for quality part
Performance of Supplier Quality and EHS Assessments in co-ordination with sourcing and engineering
Prepares and performs the Supplier Quality Kick-Off Meeting.
Manager performs inspections then he/she should fulfil all the criteria of inspectors and has to perform all the tasks and responsibilities of an inspector as per JD of inspector
Monitors supplier quality by review of supplier monthly progress reports and inspection reports, defines and implements appropriate actions in close collaboration with project team (PQM, PPLM/Project Manager, Engineering/PEM), follows up and closes out these actions.

SKILLS:

Basic Qualifications:
Technical education to University degree level or equivalent
Fluent in English Language
Lead Auditor Quality and EHS
5 years of relevant professional experience in power industry (equipment/oil and gas/petrochemical) in manufacturing and/or QA/QC and/or Engineering
Preferred:
Technical education/specialization or certificate course in at least a few of the following: welding, piping, painting and coating, NDT, RCA/8D, codes and standards,
Lead Auditor certificate
Local Business Language prevailing in the home country
Computer literate in MS Office, Enterprise Systems etc.
Supplier Quality Manager
Experience in manufacturing (including processes), and quality control methods like NDT techniques, various testing and inspection of mechanical and electrical equipment used in power plants
Knowledge of quality and environmental management systems
Knowledge of codes and standards and local directives
Knowledge of business process and tools
Experience in root cause analysis
