Risk Manager - Compliance & Regulatory Risk
Based in London a Risk Manager is required on a contract basis to work on a major retail banking transformation programme. The programme relates to the introduction of new processes which will enhance the customer journey across the retail banking product range. Risk support is required to ensure compliance and regulatory controls are met as new processes are designed and implemented.
Candidates must have recent compliance and regulatory risk experience working as a Risk Manager/Risk Project Manager in the financial services/banking sector. Good understanding of regulatory policy requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be required to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
You will be required to provide effective risk management and control - identify and manage issues that arise. Implement appropriate regulatory assurance and compliance. Understand control weaknesses and implement effective plans to address.
Some travel maybe required. Excellent working environment (including option to work from home) with the potential for a long term contract is available.
