My client, a leading International Bank, has a new opening for an experienced FP&A Analyst. Working within the central Finance Team, the successful candidate will have significant forecasting and planning experience with Financial Services, as well as senior stakeholder experience.
Key Role Function:
- To be responsible for the reporting of FTE/headcount to senior Management across Group Finance
- Support stress testing activities at a Group Finance level. Business Finance involvement in stress testing continues to evolve at a Group level, but this aspect of the role is expected to encompass: reviewing base and stress projections, understanding and articulating any differences to AOP, ensuring consistency of assumptions across businesses
- Provide ad hoc support to senior business and finance management on Group wised-requests
Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning/forecasting process, including coordination of all Central Finance specific communication
- Responsible for consolidating and drafting robust commentary and analysis in support of each planning/forecasting cycle
- Responsible for the reporting of FTE/headcount to the Group CEO, CFO, GMB
- Support stress testing activities in the context of the evolving strategic operating model for within the organisation
Necessary Qualifications
- Accounting qualification ideally with experience working within financial services industry.
- Experience within retail banking, insurance or asset management industries would be preferable but not a requirement
- Ability to influence financial staff from across Group Finance
- Solid communicator and team player.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial bias. Investigative mindset.
