Description

Procurement professional with expertise gained in the professional services domain needed now by global financial services group, to manage a nine figure annual professional services spend. Role requires experience of dealing with contracts with professional services groups ranging in size from boutique up to the big four.
You will support and challenge the business leads, to ensure that agreements and SoWs are set in place which have effective commercial structures, with clearly defined milestones, deliverables etc. You will also ensure that, where appropriate, competitive bids are managed on a formal basis to ensure value for our client. You will win stakeholder engagement to ensure that old practices are replaced with new formal processes which deliver competitiveness and value from professional services engagements. You must be comfortable dealing with contracts valued in the eight figure range.
You will need good experience in the professional services procurement domain, be an effective negotiator, and be a persuasive and effective stakeholder manager with a good eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be comfortable in a fast moving corporate environment, with the ability to remain focused on the end objective of deriving value from vendor agreements while ensuring measurable and successful service delivery from third parties.
Any additional experience gained in the HR and legal domains would be ideal.
