Description

Our global medical device client is currently seeking a Utilities/Facilities Process Engineer to manage and support leadership of Utilities/Facilities process and improvement projects including capital projects. The successful contractor will be responsible for the KPI's with Water For Injection (WFI) generation & distribution, Pure steam generation, compressed air, HVAC, and other utilities/facilities for the site; ensuring the same processes are operating to maximum efficiency with maximum uptime.
Main Responsibilities
  • To ensure Utilities is compliant to all associated standards for site, local, corporate, and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for the site remaining compliant with all relevant and up to date Utilities/Facilities policies and standards.
  • Strategic planning, including the development of a Utilities/Facilities strategy plan to ensure the site meets future customer demand forecasts for production output.
  • Responsible for the implementation of Utilities/Facilities best practice relevant to all Utilities Plant & Equipment to meet the requirements of the Sites Maintenance Excellence Program.
  • Developing, maintaining, and reporting of Utilities performance metrics
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Strong Engineering experience in a pharmaceutical, process or regulated industry
  • A strong working knowledge of Utilities/Facilities equipment & systems
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of documentation, standards, and guidelines.
  • A strong working knowledge of lean methodology
  • A strong working knowledge of site plant processes including Production, Packaging, QA, QC & Materials etc.
